The highly anticipated VIP Style Awards Nominees are out. For the third year in a row, we’re very proud to see our Emma’s name shining brightly on the list for Best Designer.

The nominees for Favourite Irish Designer are; Lennon Courtney, Helen Cody, Paul Costelloe, Carolyn Donnelly, Umit Kutluk, Emma Manley, Helen Steele and Simone Rocha.

This is a first for the Irish Designer Sample Sales to come to Galway after an extensive run in Dublin, and we thought it was high time we crossed the Shannon and enjoyed the Galway fashion scene.

Dream job? Dressing the Garrihy sisters, obviously! It's happened before, most memorably for Aoibhín's wedding and we hope it'll happen again. They all have their own individual style but all three love Manley and oh boy, we really do adore dressing them.

I returned home from London in 2010 after interning with Alexander McQueen, with a collection in my suitcase. It was to become the first ever Manley collection, I just didn’t know it yet. I was stone broke but had wonderful friends around me who came together to help me create the shoot that was featured in this article. Little did I know the shoot would get picked up by Irish press and help launch Manley.
