Kilkenny Shop Celebrate Mother's Day
It took plenty of convincing but my gorgeous Mum, Shelagh, finally came around to the idea of doing a Mothers Day shoot for The Kilkenny Shop! See some footage from the shoot below.
Did your mum inspire you to work in the creative industry?
My mum was a designer- so I didn’t lick it off a stone. She’s been a huge inspiration and influenced me from the get-go when I decided to go into fashion and start my own label, Manley.
What is it like to now have Manley stocked at Kilkenny?
Kilkenny is such an iconic store in Dublin and it’s just amazing to be in an Irish store as an Irish Designer. It’s a dream come true.
What is the best thing about your mum?
My mum is brilliant because she doesn’t give me any advice. She will be sure to point out when I’m running myself into the ground or if I should slow down. My mum is the most selfless person I know and she’s just an incredible mother.
